The university currently comprises six departments that offer approximately 50 degree programmes and 800 elective courses.
The department of Business Administration is responsible for and coordinates courses in three different divisions, Business Administration, Economics and Law.
IMP organizes its 24th annual conference on industrial marketing and purchasing in Uppsala (Sweden).
The conference is arranged by Uppsala STS and the Department of Business Studies and will take place from thursday 4th September till Saturday 6th September 2008.

Baltic Business School is a part of the University of Kalmar which has a range of almost 50 degree programmes.
BBS's seven degree programmes cover Marketing, Business and Finance, Tourism, International Business, Retail Management, Music Management and Health Management. All the programmes focus on the knowledge, service and experience based economy. They have 2000 students spread evenly throughout these programmes.
Karlstad University is one of the newer universities in Sweden. As a young and modern university one of their main objectives is to focus on co-operation with organisations and individuals working in business and the public services, as well as maintaining a high standard of higher education and research. It is a vibrant education and multidisciplinary research community of about 10,000 students and 260 doctoral students. The University employs a little over 1,000 staff.
SSE is a private university with very little dependence on government support that trains young and mid-career women and men for leading positions in both the private and public sectors. About 1,900 students are registered in programs at various levels (the Executive Education Programs excluded). SSE Executive Education AB is a subsidiary of SSE that offers open enrollment and customized programs for key personnel in private enterprise and public administration.
Chalmers is a university of technology in which research and teaching are conducted on a broad front within technology, natural science and architecture. Chalmers offers International Master's Programmes. These are taught entirely in English. National degree programmes are given in Swedish.
Mälardalen University has campuses in Eskilstuna and Västerås, with approximately 15,000 students and over 1000 employees.
The School of Business offers courses in marketing, international business, management control, commercial law, economics, information systems, statistics and ecological economics.
Mid Sweden University was founded ten years ago through the merging of two smaller universities in the region. It is now one of the larger institutions of higher education in Sweden with approximately 14,000 students. It is a network university with campuses in four cities: Härnösand, Sundsvall, Östersund and Örnsköldsvik.
Jönköping International Business School (JIBS)belongs to Jönköping University, conducts research and offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programmes and executive education.
JIBS offers three bachelor's degree programmes: the BBA Programme in Business Administration, the BSc Programme in Business Informatics, and BSc Programme in International Economics and Policy.
The Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) is part of the Linköpings University (LiU) in Sweden. IEI covers several Divisions, including Industrial Marketing and Industrial economics Division.
