Connecting European Business Marketeers
I recently had a clear case where a business market needs to be adressed with consumer marketing communications methods: a commodity sale to a large number of small enterprises.
My WinSquare Messaging Workshop made it evident that there was little innovative or unique about the services offered by my customer. The only differentiators were service quality and price. To be able to pass that message consistently to a large audience without having to address each individual customer with direct sales or direct marketing, typically mass marketing media are to be used. And hence a classic publicity agency is the most optimal partner to implement such a communication strategy. Main difference with consumer marketing is that afterwards a much more personal direct sales and direct marketing channel is the only means to convert customer interest into contracts signed. From that point onwards, business marketing methods are the once that complete the deal.
